have been living in Poland for so long now that when people ask me, „Where are you from?” I reply, „Bałuty”. I have made my home here, but still return every summer to the West of England to recharge my batteries, play a little cricket (my obsession) and lose a little weight.

Among other things, I enjoy good TV comedy, the occasional beer and travelling on Łódź trams.

By the way, I gather that there is a cricket team down the road in Pabianice, but as far as I know none exists in Łódź. If anybody is interested in playing, please let me know: it’d make my life in Łódź complete.
